Daily Affirmations

Daily Affirmations template

Use this template to write daily affirmations to repeat each day of the week.

An affirmation journal fosters a positive mindset and self-belief by encouraging daily reflections on personal affirmations. This practice helps to rewire thought patterns, boost self-esteem, and focus on positive life goals. Engaging regularly with an affirmation journal can lead to enhanced mental well-being, increased motivation, and a more optimistic outlook on life, contributing to overall personal growth and fulfillment.

What are positive affirmations?

Positive affirmations are phrases that are supposed to help you feel better about yourself. These positive statements are repeated to oneself or written down until they become a belief. Some people use them to change their life for the better, while others use them to cope with difficult situations. They can be used in various areas of life, such as health, relationships, finances, or whatever is important in your life.

Research indicates that this technique can be beneficial when a person is struggling with low self-esteem.

DIY Affirmation Journal

How to make an affirmation journal

In the journal above, the colored affirmation quotes are not editable. If you want to change the borders and/or the quotes then follow the instructions below.

  1. Click on the button above to open the affirmation maker app.
  2. There are 20 sample affirmations quotes. For each one, you can change the quote and the border.
  3. Make the affirmation journal cover. Please note that the cover reads “Affirmation Journal” but you can edit or personalize the wording if you prefer.
  4. Print each of the pages.
  5. You can also print the pages in the black and white version since they have open journal questions.
  6. Put all the pages in a binder or have them bound at your local office supplies store.

How often should you write in your journal?

If you want to create a daily affirmation journal then write every day. If you want to write once a week or a month then that is fine too. You can also write when you are feeling low. Do what works for you. This is your journal!

About the Author
Photo of NicoleMy name is Nicole. As someone who has personally experienced the transformative power of affirmations, I am deeply committed to sharing this powerful tool with others.
Experience
I started using affirmations more than 30 years ago before I even knew what they were. I didn’t have a lot of self-confidence as a child and never really believed in myself. When I went to law school, I had to give presentations in front of professors and students and it totally freaked me out. I was very self-conscious and to be honest really bad in the beginning. I knew I had to work on my self-confidence if I was ever going to be a good lawyer and that is when I discovered the power of affirmations. Although they didn’t work overnight, they were extremely helpful in building my self-confidence and enabling me to stand in court or speak in front of large groups of people without feeling self-conscious or afraid. I hope affirmations help you as much as they helped me.
