How to create a fake missing poster?
You can use the missing sign template to create a real poster or a funny missing person poster. However, if you want it to be funny then add additional text or use the wanted poster templates.

There are 12 different poster templates. When you hover over each template you will see a thumbnail showing you each template. Hover over all the templates until you find one you like.
Click on the image and a little box will appear on the left side. It reads “click or drop images here”.
Either click on it and then browse your PC to find an image or drop the image in the box.
Edit each line of text. You can either double-click on the text box or you can type your text in the text box.
To add additional text, click on the “Add Text” button on the left. It is a square icon with the letter A.
When you are satisfied with your poster, click on download.
Open the poster and print it.
It prints on standard paper (8.5″x11″).
Should the poster be printed in color?
The color helps the poster stand out but it isn’t necessary. You can change the background color to white or you can delete the background blocks.
You can change the color of the text as well. If you use a color photo it will be much easier to recognize the missing person so it is probably better to print in color.
How to hang the poster?
The best way to hang the poster is to use double-sided poster tape. If you have a notice board then pin it with thumbtacks. In the winter you will probably have to replace the poster often or protect it by laminating it or printing it on waterproof paper.

How to make the at lunch sign?
You can print on cardstock or on regular printer paper and have the sign laminated. That way it will last much longer and it will be protected if it gets wet. If you want to add the time that you will be back then a laminated sign will be the easiest way to do it. You can use a wipeable marker and write the time each day. Every day you wipe off the time and change it if you need to. All text can be edited. If for example, you prefer to make an “On Lunch Sign” then simply edit the text.
The printable sign is a high-resolution file so that you can print it on large paper with a good quality finish. Therefore, the file is pretty big. When you are printing on a full-sized page, make sure you set your printer to fit on the page. That way, you will be able to print on standard paper (US letter size – 8.5″ x 11″).
Some of the images are in landscape orientation and some are in portrait. Please check that your printer is set to the correct setting before you print.

If the photo does not cover the space, then drag it to the right and move it around until you cover the allocated space.

How to Add a Photo
On your wanted sign template, click on the white rectangle that reads “click to add your photo”. Select the photo that you want to add. In most cases, the photo will not cover the entire area. At the bottom right corner, there are two arrows. Drag them to the right to make the photo larger or to the left to make it smaller. Move the photo around until you are satisfied with the position.
How to Make your Photo Black and White
To make the poster more realistic, you might want to make your photo sepia or black and white. Our app will do this for you. If you want your poster to resemble the Wild West or to have a vintage feel then don’t miss this step. You also might want to use props for the photo.
Upload your photo.
Click on your photo and then click on “Advanced Editing” below.
Select “Filters”.
Select any of the filters such as “Grayscale”, “Black and White”, “Vintage”, etc.
Click on “Save” below.
Please note that if your photo is extremely large you will not be able to apply a filter via the app. In this case, use a smaller photo.
How to Customize a Wanted Template
Select a wanted poster template and click on “customize” to open the wanted poster generator. There are 18 different wanted posters to choose from.
If you don’t like the layout then drag the text around until you are satisfied.
To make a custom wanted poster, select a wanted template. Then, add a photo, edit the text, and download. Click on the download icon and download it as an image or a PDF document. Send it to your friends by email or print it. All the text can be edited so it can be used for multiple purposes.
If you want to create a flyer and need more text then simply type the text you want to add and add it. You can make the existing text smaller to make space for additional text.
