I often used to put things off until the summer when I stayed home with the kids and thought I would have a lot of spare time. When summer came around I entered survival mode trying to keep the kids from hurting each other and staying sane. Even though we planned to do lots of fun things in the summer we often didn’t get around to doing them.

Last summer I made a Summer Bucket List and actually managed to get most of the things done. As a result, we were busy most of the time and the kids didn’t fight as much. I actually had more fun than I usually do during the summer vacation. From now on, I will make a summer bucket list each year!
